Thanks for your apology. I'm guessing you didn't know that I've driven a 4dr E30 5spd. Oh, I've also drivena 2dr E30. I like the 2dr better And the back seat of an E30 sedan does not rival an E34 or even an E28. And I will buy an E30 when I find one I like for sale (one of the reasons I joined this site).....but not an E30 sedan. Also, I'm pretty sure I can criticize a car after driving it. I don't need to own one to make judgements. -

That was cute. I don't recall saying I had a race car though. I do recall saying that I have heard from many sources (a BMW and ASE Master Tech who has been in the business for nearly twenty years and who currently owns a race shop in NC being one of them) remark about the E30 sedan chassis being significantly stronger than the E30 coupe chassis. That I do, most certainly, recall saying.
Oh. Well, I'm sorry then. I didn't know you had actually sat in one before. I mean I own one and transport things big and small in it, so I clearly have no room to speak to teh E30 MasToR. Just my opinion though, the E30 sedan has a spacious rear seat that doesn't compromise trunk space. I would honestly say that it rivals that of an E34. Do you know what an E34 is? Have you sat in one?

The Peerless owner should blame the craptastic DynoJet. What a piece of shit. We've had vehicles as low as 1.5 wheel HP produce a fine looking graph out of our Dyno Dynamics. 50 HP shouldn't have been any problem.
Oh, and BTW, 4 door E30 > 2 door (non M car). End of discussion.

If you buy another, I sincerely reccomend upgrading to a Z32 TT. Some of the ones with high miles are getting fairly inexpensive these days (I picked mine up for $5800). Even a Virgin Z32 TT with low miles is still less than $25k.Unfortunately, it was sold when I was still in college as I had toasted another clutch and the syncros in the tranny were going.
It was an '88 with a ridiculous amount of work done to it. Custom built ram-air box using a turbo scoop, bigger 240 throttle body, full exhaust, Eibach's and Koni's, ST sways etc etc etc.........the camber gain in the back sucks a dick and they were heavy.
I may buy another eventually though, and swap in an S14 or Z32 rear subframe.Leave a comment:

a 2- or 4-door automobile seating four or more persons and usually having a permanent topman you guys argue like brother n sister, ur both idiots, e30 4drs are sedans, and e30 2drs are coupes, a peerless blew up, a few of our r3v members are douches, ive owned a 300zx, it wasnt a ricer and im not a douche, but this thread is in deep need of a ban, and you guys need to take it to the track!!
