I don't know if this is related to the S52 swap, but now my fuel gauge is reading wierd. It does show 3/4-full when I fill up, but it goes down faster than the fuel left in tank. It went to 1/4-1/8 reading and when I filled up, it filled with 5.2 gal of gas (only went 120 miles).
Would a faulty sender do this? I've filled up twice and let the gas go to the top of the fill tube, so I know the car is topped off. I have not let it run all the way out yet. I hate to be on tollway and have it run empty due to gauge (I know I can get 200+ miles per tank, but want a little better way to tell empty :).
It seemed to work before swap, but it sat for a few months down there and it is the original sender unit.
Fuel pump was replaced a year ago.
