    New member from Ohio

Hey my name is Patrick. I've been a member on hear for over a year and haven't done a introduction thread. I live in the Dayton area of Ohio. I'm a broke college student that works at a local news station as a studio tech. I bought my e30 from a member on here. I've fixed some of the rust spots but still need to get rid of some. I've been using this car as a project car with hopes of turboing it. It's a 1988 325is. The biggest flaw on this car is the rust, since its an Ohio car and has seen 20 years of winter.

    Before (how I bought it):

    As of right now:

haha yeah the high beams were a must to put back in. The fender I did one day, it looks like crap but a lot better then before. The pass. door had a big rust streak and I fixed that also. I did pull the engine out so it would be easier to put the clutch in and change the timing belt and head gasket. All I'm waiting on to do is the exhaust and put the manifold on that I ordered from 666fab and also the tcd chip, since I'm going the broke student low boost approach. I know I'll get flamed about not going MS but someday I will. Oh and I live in Kettering.

Stuff I put in the car so far:
            TCD stage 1 clutch
            FPR
            Head gasket
            Metric Blues
            Waterpump
            Timing Belt
            Dist. Cap and rotor
Changed the tranny fluid to Redline and also the diff
All new gaskets for the engine
And a lot of turbo parts and random things
