    Hello everyone, im new here.

I filled out my profile full of pictures and stuff check it out. My name is Mat I have a long term girlfriend named Billie. She drives our cars just as much, and knows just as much as I do about cars. So a lot of times she might be using the forum as well. I have a legendary E30 in my possession. Its an 88 325i, love it to death, will not ever sell it. I also drive a 93 Volvo 850 GLT absolutely love it too, but would like to get the turbo version called the 850 "R". I am here for no certain reason, I just enjoy the E30 and if I ever have questions I hope to be able to find them here. If I can help I will, but my BMW has needed 3 repairs in 15 years, so I havent had much hands on time with it. I am considering putting some money into it though. I am here from Bimmerfest, where there is nothing but arguments and bullshit there. I spend about a week there and did not enjoy my stay so I am hoping this will be a nicer place to post and a better forum in general since it is dedicated to the E30. Thank you very much.

First question would be: How do I get the brake lining light off?

    Replace your brake pads, or
    Replace your brake pad sensor

Many thanks for the welcome's. Much appreciated. The avatar is from Un Chien Andalou and it was made my the artist Salvador Dali and director Loius Bunuel. Tri-Cities is what my area is called Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol area. Northeast to you scabzzzz. Deutschman, that red tail light mod you did is kick ass! Synsax, thank you for the prompt answer. I thought it would have to be reset at the dealer. We replaced the pads but it never went off so I guess its a sensor.

make sure you reconnect the sensor too, its easy to forget when doing brakes
