    something fishy?

so i was looking at this today, and noticed something funny. judging by the tailights and the open hood pic, wouldnt this car a) either be a early model with some extensive rear end modification, or b) a late model with a m10 in it, which is a piss poor way to sell something.

It appears to have the early model rear arches. A few things on the car show signs of custom bodywork, such as the shaved bumpers. I'm going to venture a guess and say it had rear lights adapted?

If the motor was just rebuilt, why is it the perfect candidate for a swap?
