Someone half-heartedly offered me $8k for my e30 at Chicago HIN, I just had to laugh. He asked me to just not bullshit and asked me what it would take for me to sell it. I couldnt give him an answer because there isn't an amount I could sell the car for without it being completely stupid and outrageous. I'm not gonna ask 20k for it, that's just idiotic, so I will simply never sell it. What the car IS worth just simply isn't enough to get another car I'd enjoy driving as much. Since the car isn't worth it to sell, I'd rather always have it as a side project after I get myself situated.

I guess this guy that asked me to sell has an S38 lined up and was just looking for a real solid e30 chassis to put it in. After I declined the offers, he told me he had TWO s38s. I had to think long and hard about it and eventually declined after working out some details for some 20 minutes. I've been planning the s50 for so long and changing to an s38 would just take so much longer and there's too much I don't have a clue about with that swap.

Anyway, even after all the shit that was said Andre, and even though i still think stretched tires are stupid, I'd have to say that I'm sorry to see your car go. Goodluck with the e36.
