stuck car from UT is in DENVER HELP US!!!

since i am having trouble renaming my other post, here it goes.

we limped to Grand junction, rented a truck and have managed to tow this car to Denver. Filled up the tank for the first time and its over $100! We cannot afford to do this at 12 MPG for the next 1500 miles.

Someone has to be able to help us out here in Denver. We can't really afford to go on like this.

    call me ASAP. (773) 983-3885

Yeah, I'm sorry to hear this. If you were stuck over here I'd lend a hand for sure.

Most of our members tend to be on the right and left sides of the country.

        Joe-

I sent you some numbers from the Friends of BMW book and just left a message with the president of the Rocky Mountain chapter seeing if he could find you some help-I will keep you posted.

Edit: got in touch with Doug Bartlett, VP of that local chapter. He should be calling you soon.

There's a ton of BMW guys in Denver that should be able to help you out. I'm in Rapid City, SD. I'd be happy to help if you were closer! :) I have a uncle in Denver, let me know if you can't contact anyone, he could at least help somehow - he's not a car guy or anything though, but it's someone to call if you need pointers or anything! ;)

            Guys-

Joe called me back and after re-running the numbers, they can make it the rest of the way back to Chicago with the rental truck towing the 325iX cheaper than trying to get the car repaired while on the road. So everyone wish him and his wife the best of luck for the rest of their 15 hour journey.

haha!!! thanks so much. man this has been an expensive trip home. all in all with the rental of the truck and gas for the truck we are looking at around $1,350.00. That's a lot of money to get her back here i know. Now i hope i can figure out the issue at hand with this car, and hopefully someone is willing to be charitable enough to help me out on a part or two if i find i need to replace something on this auto drivetrain.

thanks so much for everything everyone, and to those that could help but where not able to due to geography thank you so much for the willingness!
