    i have a bad luck ;(

k wats wrong with my e30 ??? i just replaced the alternator belt yesterday and my lower raddi hose got cut into a half while i was driving. towed my e30 to my house and tommorwo i have to check wats wrong. this is the third time this shit happened to me. its like my lower raddi hose is hitting somthing and then it gets snaped into half. so what would that be?? is it becuase the alternator is hitting the hose or power steering pulley is hitting the hose???

i dont think that the radiator is moving around . i am guessing the belt that i replaced was too big. becuase the space between the hose and alternator it self was very tiny.

            Change your motor mounts.

+2 on that, the mounts tend to break causing your engine to tilt enough it cuts your radiator hose

Are you French?? Because it looks like you're typing it as well.

              +3 on the motor mounts.

                  ok a little update:
its not the lower raddi hose. its the radiator its self!!! i mean holly shit that thing was gone lol. the fan blades were hitting the radiator and one of the blades got actually cut (lol) . so i guess its a new radiator , new engine mounts , new fan blades. oh maybe i should change the lower raddi hose too. oh i forgot to add a new fan clutch.

fuck thats about 300+in parts and i only have like 10$ in my account . gotta wait for the next pay check........

btw is it hard to replace the engine mounts.

no you don't need to pull the motor, you just need to jack up the motor on say the A/C bracket with a block between the jack and the bracket and wiggle the engine in to place. it should make sense once you get under there and take a look.

i think replacing mounts is easy. one side at a time, can have it done under an hour.
