    Apparently #2

If you want to get your subframe out, don't stick a 10" long carriage bolt up in the hole and try to break it loose by prying. Because then your car with no wheels on it will fall off the jackstands and almost crush your ass.

It's all gravy though, I had a couple bricks underneath the car and it didn't any damage, it was just a bitch to get back off the ground.

    I know.. I know...

Dang, didn't you shake the car or something before getting underneath it?! Thank God you didn't crush yourself...

These are the types of things you keep to yourself. Guess we don't need to tell you much.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Go rent or buy a 2-jaw puller, it will have that subframe out in a matter of minutes. Thank god you weren't hurt though, and good luck!

It was sturdy, the car is just basically a shell so it weighs next to nothing. So I guess I pulled too hard and at a weird angle and it pulled it off balance.

The bolts are out, its just the metal bushing that's in the center that's keeping it stuck. The metal actually sheared off on the right side. I'm not looking forward to doing it.

I think i'm going to do the 5/8ths hex lag screw method, I ordered one in at work.

glad you're ok, but how dumb can you be? where did you put jack stands? or bricks? how do not make 100% sure the car doesn't fall.

How do you go about getting a car off of the ground?
I feel like a fish out of water, most times.

They were in the regular spots. But Like I said the car is just a shell.. it basically only has front suspension on it.

I lifted the back of it up while my friend stuck a jack under each side just before the wheel wells.
