FREE - Alpina Green Stripe Full Gauge Template

I posted is in my project log, but I though the rest of you would like to see this.

A friend of mine, Ely (rs4pro3) ask me to make him a gauge template to replicate an Alpina Cluster Tach.

Here is a low res version of the final product:

You can download it here in my project log:

BTW - You may not use this work for commercial purposes.

Very cool. Thanks. If I had enough Alpina paraphernalia I would be all over that.

So what type of printer do you print that on and what kind of material?

Color laser or better - that is my guess anyways. The stock gauges are plastic and I *think* silk screened. I believe Jordan printed his out at kinkos on some slightly thicker card stock (remember - his were gray/silver) - and they looked as good as the originals IIRC.

I'll be getting it printed tomorrow at Kinko's, may try it out at home first on some photo paper just to see what it does. Thanks again George for doing that!:pimp:

This is the kind of thing I'd rather pay $25 for that do myself. However, I have very little time.

Dont mean to jack this thread but since you guys asked.

I had Nunzio who owns a design company make these, he spent several hours getting it just right. Then had his contacts produce them. We had 5 made. Used them or gave them away to friends and board members who asked. Could have more made if there is an interest. I would think $15 shipped would more then cover the costs.

The rings I bought on eBay... they are aluminum finish I prefer them to the shiny chrome finish.

The needles are painted with florescent road paint. I have another set painted with Orange nail polish. Anyone interested in painting needles I would recommend the nailpolish as it "self levels" and does not come out clumpy.

I have two sets of Euro clusters for sale in the forsale section.

That looks awesome - good job, and don't worry about the thread jack. I'm not selling it - just putting the template out there for anyone that wants it.
