    based off that logic...

    Where is the 325is? or the 88 325? ;)

RealOEM is nowhere near complete or accurate. We all know this.

OH another fun fact. 95 m3 in US didn't have an S50. S50 was the euro engine with individual throttles and many other upgrades. For Americans they just put some of those parts on an m50 engine and shipped them to us. What a freaking shame.

You sure about that? I was under the impression that SA got the 333i (M30 B33 from a 733i). Other than the E30 M3, I believe the only other car that got an S14 was Italy and Portugal's 320is.

    BOOO ON YOU Mr. Anderson

e21 also came as a 320/6. It was an m20b20 engine.

I am pretty sure they offered the 4 cyl diesel in the 5 series in Europe.

    S65 B40. But technically it is used in the E90 M3, the E92 M3, and the E93 M3.

The M41D17 (BMW's first diesel motor) was only used in the E36 318tds, although it was very, very loosely based off of the M51D25 (diesel M50).

Although based off of the M50, the S50 was only used in the E36 M3 coupe/sedan.

The M15 (2002tii motor) and the M31 (2002 turbo) motors were only used in the 2002tii and the 2002 turbo, respectively. However, both motors were based off of the M10.

Great question George, I don't think there is a single motor that isn't based off of a previous motor in only one car.
