    Euro filler installation

I just got my filler from Abrahams and want to install it. It needs to be drilled, but i want to be careful before i fck it up. Anyone have any tips on drilling this or can share with me how they did this neatly?

From what i see i can do 2 things:
1 - Use the US license plate as a template - Don't really like that option
2- Measure where the holes are on the car, match said measurements to the euro filler and then drill.

I really don't want a bunch of holes in this if i fck up so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    -Azad

I just popped out the grommets on the body for the plate screws, and mocked the filler up. Then from inside the trunk, I marked the back of the filler with a pen or a screwdriver etc.

I only did the top ones, that way I can run a euro plate in rear and not have holes exposed.

Great suggestion, ill post some pics when i finish. I was afraid of drilling it and it wouldn't line up the way it should. I'll also only do the top holes. Thanks so much for the input.

I did almost the same thing, with a slight difference. I cut the plastic caps tops off so they have a lower profile otherwise the filler sticks out too much. I put all 4 back in(even though I didnt use the bottom ones, so no water gets in from the bottom holes). with the tops cutoff the fit comes out nicer.

Thats not that good of an idea as the filler will then rub through the paint in areas. As me how I know. :) You need that lil bit of space, and mine is flush with the tails.

nope, still not touching, left just enough, but yes you are right if you mount flush it will rub the paint.

I just lined it up and took a guess. Only messed up once. Who cares though. It will always be covered up anyways.

I'm not sure i like the way the fitment came out, it's kinda sticking out a little more than i want it too...
From far away it looks fine but when i get really close to it i can see it's not as neat as i want it, maybe im being overly anal. Let me know what you guys think about the fitment and how it compares to yours:
