fuck that, i woulda sued the shit outta that PD.... a cop driving over the line hitting a civilian? are you kidding? i wouldve ruined that bitches career and sued the fuck outta him and the department

I dont understand how the cop making a court date hindered your lawsuit.
Usually you have a 3 year window to make a suit. Please contact a lawyer that specializes in auto accident/personal injury and make sure his track record is good. You really need to sue that cop and PD. My wife just got 17 grand when she broke her hand on my airbag when we had a accident with my truck on the ice a couple of months ago.
I don't see why if you get a good lawyer why you wouldn't have a suit.
Unless you were the negligent one. From your story it sounds like the cop was at fault. Talk to your insurance rep as well, and see if they can recommend a lawyer.

yeah i got pretty beat. thanks for all the support the only real thing that hurts is i miss my e30. i do still have some parts that i have no clue what the value are anymore havent really checked out that stuff in a while, i have a set of fogs ,the other half of my plastic bumper swap which is the rear bumper that is red. i also have the stock metal bumpers. the brake ducts for the front valence, a 'is' red rear spoiler , 2 sunvisors , and a 'is' front lip i believe unpainted from bavauto. not sure if theres any interest in these parts if there is let me know not really in a rush to get rid of them since the accident was last year. Sadly i restored my whole car at the time taking apart the whole engine and replacing to get it running along with reapolstering my interior which was mint but i sold the car to the junk yard due to the fact i couldnt look at that after i saw it to realize i was alive and what happend to my love.

yea i should of been dead would of been a short life for me since im 18 and
sadly no some may find that surprising or flame me but boy can those vert seats hold you in and i forgot to put it on the one time i needed it so always wear it and dont forget.
