Well if the O rings are still there it should be fine. IMHO

um, no you need the cap, you can pick them up at napa for a few bucks, ask for pintle caps for a 90 mustang

            Um no...is kinda vague...but maybe u don't know.

Anyway, I already put it that way and I already bolted on the manifold so we'll find out soon enough

The cap serves a purpose, and helps keep the o-ring in place to seal the injector, and also directs the spray from the injector somewhat. Without it you are going to have a very high chance of a vacuum leak.

thank you very much...that's much better.

I did have the ring there so it's sitting in, nice and snug.
Anyway...I put everything back today (silly injector included)

what I did was replace my head gasket
and I put everything back right (at least I think)
However, the car does not turn on right now...but it does turn over...

I didn't put on my air filter or anything yet...Also I smell gas but I'm not sure if the pump has pumped enough into the injector's line...

what should I do to properly bring her back to life???

You can still swap out the injectors with the manifold on there.

-There's no big fancy procedure to swaping injectors with the manifold on. Take off the valve cover for more room!

                            remove hoses from valve cover
                            remove valve cover
                            remove fuel rail
                            pop out injectors

Took me about 30 minutes to do it. (i'm kinda slow)
