    idk what this could be

i was at the junk yard an found a 4 door bmw with no emblems and idk what it is it has a 6 cylinder, with 2 two barrel carbs, it has five lug wheel pattern, its a automatic, its says its a 1973 but i have no idea what series it is i dont think its a 2002 because i thought they were 4 cylinders with 4 lug wheel, does anybody know what it could be?

                  It's probably a 3.0s if they're calling it a 1973 3 series. How rusty is it?

What you saw was probably a E3 (Bavaria), because the US didn't get a six-cylinder E12 until July 1974 (with the 530i.) Below is a shot of a US model Bavaria.
