    E46 seats

i tried doing a search for this and couldn't find any good information. there are a number of e46 seats on ebay, sold in sets for around $400-600. will these fit in an e30 cabiro, maybe with the VAC adaptor plates. my only thought is that they would be a bit to wide. if anyone has done this or has an e46 that they can take some dims that would be great.

Meh, to each their own. But I think it would look a little odd. The E46 seats are modern and have that rounded look, if they would even fit in the E30 they wouldn't look that great I imagine.

      Google knows all...

They dont look that out of the ordinary. In fact i think that vaders in an e30 look a lot more out of place then these do.

Wow-I am impressed with how nice the ZHP alcantara coupe seats look in that car. I figured they would look way out of place, but even to me they really don't.

        Hmm.....

Don't like them at all. Too round and bubbly. And I think Vaders are hideous, too.

They look too big in the car, if you read down it obstructs the handbrake usage and would be hard to adjust the seat with the door closed.

Cabby is narrower than the coupe inside too. "Adissimo" put Vaders in his cabrio and had to do a lot of cutting/welding.

I think they look good. I have e36 m3 sport seats (not vaders) and I love them. I don't think I would want powered seats though.

I have them in my car as well. Full power. I would have like manual for the weight savings but the boost will take care of that. I'm not a skinny guy and they feel awesome on long trips. Made up some brackets to bolt them in just in case I change my mind.

I'm looking to get rid of my Vaders, my back does not like them at all, does anyone know of any nice comfortable Recaros to replace them with?
