I'd say its worth a shot. Try it and let us know how it goes. Mainly me because I have been wondering the same thing about the quality of those.

what's the Amperage on them? Even though e30 pumps are fairly generic, I'd still want to be right.

Yeah i thought it would be a good idea worse comes to worse i loose 70 bucks.
