    Euro plate filler question

I just got my euro plate filler from KO. I got everything prepared to install it - and there's no hole for the trunk lock assembly. Has anyone else run into this? Did I get the wrong filler? It would actually look really clean if I found a way to move the trunk licl - but I don't see that happening.

Let me know what you think.

I think you got one made on a Friday....it should have a hole for the trunk lock mechanism.

OK this pisses me off then. I waited like 2 months for this and euro trim.

Yea there's something wrong there, they should come with the hole already cut out. Call KO for a replacement.

Ugh. If abrahams will price match KO then I will. I think I paid like 39 bucks for mine.

I dunno, you could try cutting it but you would have to be very carefuly. Personally id prefer it precut. It doesn't look like the cuts show that much anyway, but im anal about stuff like this. Good luck with whatever you decide to do i'm sure you're as pissed as i would be in the same situation.
                Thanks,

Take the lock mechanism out. It is like 3 screws on the inside of the trunk and it just slips out. Then take a marker and mark where the hole needs to be and how big it needs to be. Then take a drill and make a hole.

The cut needs to be square to clear the whole lock mechanism

It's cool - I called erick at KO and he's shipping me another one on monday in exchange. No worries.

Looks like you got one that's made for a Touring. We don't have the trunk button in the license plate area, ours are underneath.
