    GPS Gurus Help needed!!

I'm in the market for a GPS navigator, my price range is about $200 - $300. I will be primarily using this in the PA/NJ/NY and Canada area. I don't care for features such as MP3 players and picture viewers. I have been considering something with bluetooth for handsfree phone usage but it's not a requirement. My main concern is its navigating abilities. Anyway your advice is greatly appreciated.

I like the Garmin series, i have actually used this GPS (my Gf's parents have one) and am considering ordering this:

I know the technology has changed alot and i want to make sure i get the best bang for my buck.

    Thanks,
    -Azad

Bingo...I have the Nuvi 260. Those things rock. What you have there is the widescreen version of mine. Text to speech, millions of points of interests, and the maps are excellent. Easy to use and Garmins have always been good in my book. My friend has a more expensive Nuvi that has bluetooth and he says the feature sucks. For your needs the Nuvi 260/260W should be more than enough.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

I love my Garmin Quest the only downside to Garmin is their maps are out dated and they cost a shit load if you decide to buy them.

Tomtom 130s or 330s will be the best deal for your price range. With the S model you will get the text-to-speech option which will pronounce the name of the street rather than telling you turn 20 yards ahead, etc. Also both unit have rds-tmc traffic ready so you're able to get live traffic update. 330s is going to give you a bigger screen. 4.3 inch. I have the 130s and straight out of the box very easy to use. Preloaded with maps of us and cananda. You don't have to pay for map updates.
