Anyone have much experience with it? What's it like? Worth the $150 tuner to run it? I like the idea of it being free, and the hardware is the same price as Sat radio which costs $15/mo or whatever. But is it even worth trying to put it in? I've never known anyone with it so I have nothing to go off of. I'd like to hear your thoughts/experiences/opinions on it!

do you even get extra channels? arent there only a few radio stations that are in HD?
i dont really know much about it because i never listen to the radio and just use my zune or iphone in the car through the aux-input in the receiver. that way i can choose what to listen to.
with that said, i know there are tons of people who like the randomness of the radio, too. -

was thinking about this for my semi truck. but looking at the station guide, doesnt look all that exciting. i was hoping for a broader spread, not the same channels repeated. i guess the -2 channels have different programming but i dont know how diverse it is. ill stick with XM.Comment

The only reason why I got it is because the local news stations run the traffic and weather reports continuously on the -2.
Normally on the regular station they run the reports every 10 minutes (e.g. 3:08, 3:18, 3:28, etc.) but I always manage to miss it right before I have to make a decision as to which interstate highway I am going to take. Very seldom are both major highways jammed but too often I was getting on the wrong one.Comment
