Tire rack may have them, but you'd have to call them
I hate tire rack with a passion. The fact they won't let you order stuff you know will fit because it isn't in there database is a bunch of crap. They told me there was NO WAY a 17 x 8 ET 25 would fit on my car.
Then you watch them get in GRM and stuff 295/30/18s on an 8" wide wheel for a tire test. Bunch of hypocrites.

Tire Rack has always been good for me (so far), except for when I ordered my 195/60/14's for my weaves and they told me that they were far too small.
They called literally 5 minutes after me placing an order though, just to be certain that I got the right size.
Overall, I would definitely buy from them again..always great customer service.
The reason they won't sell you something that they don't think will fit is because they don't want people coming back and suing them for selling something that didn't fit or caused them to get into an accident.

I dont know who you talked to, but my experience has been the opposite. Did you actually give them a call? I've spent an hour on the phone a couple times working out all the specs to find wheels that fit my car. I always find them very helpful and very fast with shipping. I've bought a few sets of very nice wheels from them and will continue to in the future.
^Yes, I talked to 3 different people and all gave me the same robot response.
They don't have their database of wheels indexed by size, bolt pattern, offset, or anything other than it will or won't fit on this particular car, at least that's what they say.

I bought mine from parts4vws.com, the guy mentioned that he sells to E30 owners a lot. I don't remember what I paid, but from looking around it was the cheapest I found after spacers, bolts, and shipping. Plus they sent some Starburst with my order.
I got some "one off" custom spacers from a website, I'm sure that you can finds some cheaper, but he made them custom for my wheel application. 10mm, 4x100, hubcentric spacers for Borbet T's 16x9. I paid $167 for two spacers. Expensive. Hope I can finds some cheaper stuff. Really.
Great customer service.
