In taking in pieces for my fender flares I skipped my helmet thinking I'd be OK. YEAH RIGHT....I missed work due to not being able to open my eyes for more than a few seconds. And my face is even burnt.

Yeah, it's good for everyone to know about it. But the thing is, if you are operating a welder and don't already know about it, something is seriously wrong.

lesson learned at an early age. but for short weld stents, spot welding specifically, i sometimes still dont wear a mask, BUT I will NEVER have my eyes open w/o the mask.
I think the UV provides a but of color once in a while ;)

kid in my auto shop did it. it was funny as hell. he ran in to everything trying to get out. i hate the kid thats why i thought it was funny.
