Should of, could of, might of, whatever. The kid was stabbed with a bowie knife numerous times before anyone "would of" been able to do anything. Paramedics wouldn't have been able to do shit.

This was in the paper a few weeks ago, shit I also encounter while working at a pool. It's frustrating to say the least.

After all this shit that's been going on lately, i'm really starting to lose faith in humanity. It's one thing to not help someone whose car has broken down, but it's another to simply run when a person is being stabbed to death, or ignore and old man hit by a car, or be too lazy to help a woman convulsing on the floor.

The thing is though, when looking at the situation logically mankind is probably no worse than it's ever been, we simply see or hear about every wrong that happens across the globe.

It's very easy to SAY what we would do in a situation vs. being put in that situation.

You're talking as if the bus was on fire, you're blind folded and were being charged by the entire Miami Dolphins defense.

All it takes is one bullet. The guy could have had an AK-47 for all it mattered; he would still be taken out just as quick by a "dinky hand gun".

But they do allow you to bring a huge hunting knife on the bus? Didn't think so.
my guess is your never been on a grey hound before. and ya you can bring a knife on a grey hound no problem they don't check shit hell you "could" bring a gun no problem.. But if Canada had CCW Grey hounds would be more like airports with metal detectors and check ins.

and I would really like to see how people would react with a dude opening fire in a bus with an AK and your still able to take him out. Those seats are not going to stop any bullets .

I guess my point is do you realize how insane it would be to start a gun fight on a bus full of people even the poilce wouldnt start firing there are way to many "other" targets on board.

I will say this from all the other forums Im on 95% of the people that say they have a CCW are not marksmen theyer just regular joes who carry because "its thier right".

too many feet, they needed a head...

Canadian police are starting to say more about the mystery of the five disembodied human feet that have been found along the coast of British Columbia. On Thursday, police said two of the feet belonged to the same person.

Exactly. The victim was dead before anyone could have drawn on the perp.

The victim was a total lost cause at that point, but what about others on the bus? I mean we find out now that he was in the process of removing the guys head, but what if he was going to keep knifing al these other people? It was a lucky thing that only one person got killed.

                              Pretty fucked up for sure.

I agree though that there was no point in anyway trying to be a "Hero". The guy was dead before anyone even noticed anything. Killing the attacker wouldn't have done anything. Trapping him in the bus and waiting for authorities was the correct thing to do. No one else got hurt and they were safe after the accident happened.

What do you think would be more traumatizing, seeing a guy kill someone or seeing a guy kill someone and then see another guy kill the attacker?

I agree with that, and that's the point I've been making on other forums. Everyone says that someone should have done something, when in reality they did do something.

They locked him in the bus so he couldn't kill anyone else. The first place he stabbed the kid was in the throat, the kid was doomed from the first second. What good would trying to fight him have done? Get a couple more people slashed up, maybe killed? It's not like they all stood there while the guy threatened the kid. The guy stabbed immediately in the throat, before anyone could react or knew what was going on. They also sent 3 big guys in after him to check if the boy was still alive and to help him, the man chased after them swinging the hunting knife at them.

However, the other side of the argument is that now the killer will probably take full advantage of the shoddy justice system in Canada and plead insanity. If that doesn't work, which it likely will, he will get 10-25 years for second degree murder and probably get out much sooner on "good behavior."
