How do i change the OBC to US specs?

Guys believe me i searched before asking, Never had this problem in my previous E30s cause they were all perfect. I've pressed the reset button to see if it will switch itself to read in MPH.

Hold down the reset button (up front), then push the mpg button (I believe). You DO NOT have to get to the back of the OBC

Hit the MPG button. Stick a pen in the reset hole.

I had to do this all the time when my battery terminals were not tight enough.

The MPG + Reset button worked! Its so nice not having to convert 8.7L / 100km to mpg anymore!

And just for the record (I know there are average mpg threads all over the place), I find it hilarious that all four of the 3.5 liter cars I have had seem to average better than most of the posts I see for people driving 325is. Maybe its the effortless torque or something.

Yeah I Love how sometimes its like 60 degrees celsius. haha. I actually know how to convert cuz in Argentina they use the metric system. But the mileage is hard as hell. Liters per 100 kms? no way.

Btw, the mileage gauge is inaccurate, I hear through many sources.

I would match of the odo if I were everyone. i usually get worried with 20 miles left on my Computer.
