The car's been languishing under a cover in the alley behind her house for a couple of years.
Her DD is a minty 635, but the 3.0 is going to die a slow death in that alley.
Anybody else have a similar story?
There is a 50k mile e30 m3, white on black, rolling around Corvallis, Oregon that some woman drives. Complete with Hawaiian seat covers.
Also, until a few years ago there was a 12k mile e30 m3 that lived around the corner from where I grew up that literally lived in a bubble. The guy was the original owner, got tired of it, and started letting his wife drive it to work. It ultimately got sold for 30k plus and is now some guys DD back in Chicago. you could literally have eaten off of every inch of this car. the leather still smelled new, and only like 8 people had ridden in the car in it's entire life. Too bad.Last edited by uofom3; 08-03-2008, 10:22 PM.PNW Crew

Then last year out of the blue someone told me about one in a barn that was being stored and the guy who owned the barn wanted it out of there cause the guy wasn't paying him anymore to store it there.
Anyway it turned out to be the one that i wanted to get in high school. Found the guys number and called him about it, still didn't want to sell even though it hasn't been touched in the 12 years that i last asked about it.
But in the end, these cars that we want that we see sitting around isn't ours to tell the owners what to do with them. If they want them to rot, It's their loss.
I actually went to the guy's house and asked him if he would sell, and he told me he was "planning to restore them next spring". 5 years later, they finally disappeared.
I drove Ghias for years, and every few months someone new would tell me about the two Ghias.
I found a website that details locations of old muscle cars that are parked, but not ever for sale. Sad stuff.
I hate that shit.McCain's military draft: Are you willing to bet your life?
