I think I'm gonna go see that this weekend. Worth the 7 bucks I take it?

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Good to know, I'd like to see it - but was it just entertaining; meaning it is a wait till it comes out to rent type movie? Or good enough to see in the theatre for $6 a person?

I disagree. I thought Signs sucked ass but thoroughly enjoyed The Village. Great story and I didn't mind that the twist wasn't much of a suprise.

This is my take on The Village...I believe M-night is a good director but at the same time he let his emotions get the best of him in this film, I believe he rushed this film due to the fact that he hates Bush...In other words, he portrays Walker as Bush using false fears(the monsters) in order to control what he believes is a perfect state.

Once again, another fuckin' hollywood'er using his artistic abilities to try and sway those who don't read and keep up with current events. Thats pretty unfair, I paid good money to see an ENTERTAINING movie, not a movie that sucks due to one's political opinions.

Wow, never even thought about that...

Maybe you guys are just thinking WAY to far into these movies, instead of just sitting back and enjoying them. Interesting idea about Pres. Bush though.

I didn't like The Village. It was pretty lame. Even with a scared girl next to me.

When we were leaving the parking structure, the guy that took my time ticket asked if we enjoyed our movie. I said 'no, it was kinda lame' and he was like 'Oh, The Village huh?'.

I thought it was pretty obvious when in M Night's part of the movie where all you see in the paper is how many soldiers killed in iraq and thats all u hear on the radio...plus i remember him in some magazine being anti-bush.
