I'm off to the Nurburgring Historics this weekend

This will be a cool trip, we're stopping off in a small village in the Mosel Valley for a wine run on our way to the ring. I'm going to the ring with a fellow E30 owner from the SF bay area. Imran works for MB in San Jose and is on temporary assignment to the Mercedes plant here in Sindelfingen. I'll take lots of pics and have a report next week. Meanwhile it's Sommerfest here in Stuttgart

I'm going to Briedel, a small village between Enkirch and Zell. It's near Frankfurt-Hahn airport. I've been going to the same wine merchant for years from when I was stationed at Hahn when it was an American F-4/F-16 base. I was there a month ago and he sold me a case of wine for 24 Euro's, I felt like a theif. I should have bought 3-4 cases at that price. It's a short drive from there up to the ring. If you are there on Sat afternoon, look for me in BMW car corral, I'll be wearing a BMW 2002 hat. I'll PM you with my cell #.
