How many e30's left?

It seems like everyday you hear about a e30 dieing. Whether it be because of an accident or getting parted out.

Would be cool to know how many e30's there are left in North America out of the original number ever produced.

Anyone have any guesses?

about 100,000 left would be my guess, that's about 1/10 of imported ones to US.
