    Slick Gauges

    Hopefully this isnt a repost.

Someone should try and work with them to create an e30 solution.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

        I've already see this.

Price: $650.00 +tax and shipping and I believe a core charge.

Oh, and it only works on OBD2 cars.

Thats why he has it in a 964 which is clearly a OBD1 car?

Edit: Actually the 964 was before all of the OBD crap, like the e30.

I've been considering this gauge set up for a while now in my turbo car. I saw this posted the other day on bf.c and it looks pretty good. Those guys do have a listing for the E30 on their site, just no pics or info.

I also know a guy that did one of these PLX gauges in his rear view mirror. The possibilities are endless...

Actually GG, they have a unit that is compatible with factory OBD2 sensors, and a unit that is more or less stand alone that you add sensor modules to in what ever configuration you desire.

I missed part of that - it's a nice hardware set up. The company is called PLX devices. They actually won an award at SEMA this year. But I have to say.....

                Their designs are so ugly.

EDIT: ^the stock gauge has Arabic writing on it in yellow? WTF?

                DANGER TO THE MANIFOLD!!!!!!
Reminds me of that movie. LOL. And it "INSTALLS IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS!!!"

If you have a 911 and want to spend a $1000 on it - go ahead - then again - I'm totally biased - so don't listen to me.

Trust me, we're not. The man in the video clearly states you can have the LCD screen display anything. This isnt a standard gauge that they sell, its a fully customizable LCD screen. Did you even watch the video?

Don't worry - no one on this board is going to drop $1000 in gauges/sensors - calm down.

That is sleek, doesn't get in the way, integrated to everything. But for $1k................

That's a nice intercooler setup though.
