Alpina 3.0 CS and other car : Pictures : Alpina is For Sale too

A guy I know is selling his Alpina. I think it is a 3.0 CS?? It looks just like the one here on Wikipedia = Click Here

I'm also going to post pictures of some of the other cars too because I think they're cool and unique. He has many more cars but they've already been moved to his new house or storage. I was there helping to remove stuff that will be transferred to his new shop and figured I should bring the camera :D

If anyone is interested in the Alpina let me know and I'll get you in touch with him. He hasn't put it up for sale officially anywhere yet but he is selling it. I would love to buy it myself but it won't be cheap. Its really nice.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Beautiful and very rare car Whatever it sells for, it's not going to be cheap. My old '74 US model CS last sold to a collector in the Northeast for $25K (6 yrs ago) and the only thing special about it was a Hartge 3.5L transplant with L jet tronic. This is euro model and from the Schroth (sp?) seats, this car could have started out as a CSL. The Alpina upgrades are going to make this car worth even more as you don't see many of them. If you can find out what he's asking for it, please post it up.

Beautiful couple of cars there. I nearly busted a nut over that E9 and the old Lotus 7. Whoever that guy is, he has fantastic taste in cars. That Ginetta G4 (or G4R?) is a beautiful car as well.

                  Thanks for the pictures.

NEVER heard pf e9 Alpina. Any more info on it? I thought first Apina BMW was e21 and then other bigger models, like e12.

This is either super rare, or super fake.

The picture that Wikipedia uses from the OP could almost be this car. Alpina CS's are very rare and sought after. I swear I remember seeing some CS's with the Alpina stripe down the side... If I remember right the one I'm thinking of was in a Roundel back in the early '90s and it used to be the Prince of Monaco's (or some such's) car.
