Basically it looks like the passenger occupancy sensor in the passenger seats are failing. Well hell, they been doing that for years now. The one in my 2000 M5 is broken...tried to wire up a simulator to it to turn the airbag light off, but it didn't work. Looks like I will be pulling the bulb on the instrument cluster-that should fix it!
