i havent been on that particular road, but have driven from oklahoma to portland and back twice now, taking a new route each time. my trip going through much of montana was arguably my favorite portion of road i have been on, with the exception of highway 1 in california.
i vividly remember "beartooth highway", or highway 212. here is a google maps link to the road. its insane: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...,0.370789&z=11
edit: be sure to zoom into the extra squiggly parts to get some idea of the curves.Comment

I've been on the Beartooth Highway and drove Highway 1 from SF to Yreka... LONG drive, but SO beautiful. I remember driving through all of the little towns and the signs would read: "Population 12, Elevation 7" haha.i havent been on that particular road, but have driven from oklahoma to portland and back twice now, taking a new route each time. my trip going through much of montana was arguably my favorite portion of road i have been on, with the exception of highway 1 in california.
