Nice surprise while under the car

Taking care of one project....and I see the mail truck pull up with another package while I am under the car. Happened to be another piece I was waiting on, which I quickly installed after finishing my then current task.

Just kinda funny to be working and get something else too. I'll fill everyone in on the few changes I made Friday.

heh, I wanted someone to mention it.

I just used it to lift the car and put it on a proper jackstand. the oem jack is useful sometimes when I don't want to use planks of wood to use a jack.

ya the whole planks of wood thing gets real annoying...but it's worth it for the drop

I use the stock jack so I can get it high enough to fit my floorjack under the damn car :D

for the front, i use 2ton floor jack on the hooks, on the rear, i position it on the frame bolt just before the rear wheels. wish i had a lift.
