If you don't have factory fogs what does your switch look like?

Where cars without factory fogs equipped with a switch anyway, or was there a blank there? Entirely different light switch/surround

My early model has no fogs, yet it has a fog button. The weirdest thing of all, the pictogram on the fog button is worn completely off.

i just learned that all cars came prewired for fogs.

I couldnt imagine it would be difficult to rig up a set.

Non fog cars came with a blank. They usually don't have the wiring between the switch and the fusebox. Euro cars actually all came factory with rear foglights and have the same switch as us spec cars with front fog lights.

My '92 318iC has all of the wiring. I've got the lights and switch installed, just waiting on a relay. I tested them with one of the high-beam relays, and they work fine.

Now the rear fog wiring on the other hand...

                Ok another question.

Do factory cars without fogs have the delete plates clipped on to the valence or are they screwed into the stock foglight brackets? I see guys install deletes both ways. Which is the factory way?

Are we talking about the late-model fogs? My one remaining blockoff was held in with clips. I had to buy the 8 nylon clip-in nuts and the matching screws from the dealership.
