Point me in the right direction?

So I switched out the HVAC switch on my car since it was faded and the blue light no longer lights up when the A/C comes on.

I got a switch from another member here, thanks NOMAD, the A/C comes on but still no blue light.

A few weeks ago the fuse did blow on the way home, but I replaced it and the A/C has been fine ever since.

Any ideas on why the blue light is no longer coming on?

The light is burnt out. The switch runs on the same fuse as the fan and switch. If all that is working, the compressor is kicking on when the button is pressed, then the light is burnt out.

Damn, what are the chances to get TWO switches with the same problem!

Guess I'm still looking for another!

I think you can change out the bulbs on either the new ones or old ones... I can't remember how it goes (look for two white circles on the back; those are the lights). The other version you have to crack the switch apart and re-solder.. It's not too big of a deal

My A/C bulb rarely comes on... but occasionally, it will work. A/C works perfectly, so there might be a bad contact inside the button that prevents it from lighting up. The bulb itself is fine, however.
