Anyone buy it?


its scary as shit. the surround sound definitly makes it sweeter. I think HL2 will be better though. People put Doom 3 in the god of all video games chair before it was released and it was kind of impossible to live to those standards, but its still one damn fun game.

Any other opinions?

Im not going to bother with Doom3 because the multiplayer is horrible...HL2 is going to be my next buy. :?

HL was the orginal scary as hell FPS. HL2 is going to pwn your face off.

pfft played both doom on my own computer and hl2 on my friends computer he has access to it though valve, seeing as he was the creator, of counter strike, and he needs hl2 to create the new models and such......it kicks so much ass i can't wait.

On that note.... all games are only worth a download to me :D Think D3 is fun on your computer, I hooked up my DVI output to my LCD projector and play it on my 7' screen in the living room with full surround sound. Bout makes me hurl

I remember playing HL at 1024x768 on dual Voodoo 2's running in SLI mode. At the time that was the godly of godlies setup.

anyone remember Q2 CTF ? That was the shiznit, I think the next best multiplayer was CS.
