    Winter?

You mean when it drops to 50 degrees during the day?

'99 Nissan Maxima SE 5 speed. It's lowered, has no LSD and I've been rocking All-Seasons for the past 4 winters...not much fun.

Is the 2.5 milano a twin spark?
Also we're talking 90's italian steel, worlds better in the rust dept. than 70's and 80's cars, not unlike bmw.

Rust is a standard Alfa joke amongst old people. The memories are fresh because I just helped a friend reassemble an early Alfa Giulia.

The Milano is a real car. It's a damned shame that they didn't take off in the US.

There were still too many Pontiac-driving rednecks in the US back in the Milano's heyday.

Haha, sorry for the misunderstanding... I probably should have clarified. This thing is nice and rusty already, so more rust isn't going break my heart. ALFA didn't catch on to rust proofing techniques until the early '90s when FIAT took over, and by then the lineup was pretty sparse and unexciting.

ethree - No, the V6 is a standard 1 plug per cylinder SOHC motor. All alloy with steel liners. They last forever and are very forgiving when it comes to maintenance too, despite the reputation for Italian cars always being tempermental.

My first Milano was pretty sweet. It had Koni yellows, lowering springs and torsion bars, 15x7 Panasports with Bridgestone S03s... TONS of fun due to the light weight and 50/50 weight distribution. Factory Brembo front calipers, inboard rear brakes, DeDion rear suspension for absolutely perpendicular tire angle during cornering... They were among the best handling cars available when they were sold, and beat out the Porsche 944s on road-holding and slalom speed.
