If you're stopping in AZ, definitely check out downtown Flagstaff. It's a really fun place with lots of different bars, restaurants, etc. Plus cool scenery and interesting people.Leave a comment:

Going on a cross-country roadtrip ... tomorrow
So my departure date for this trip kind of snuck up. I'm leaving central NJ tomorrow morning at 9, with my stepsister, in my (hopefully) trusty eta.
My trip takes me through the following states:
New Jersey DONE
Pennsylvania DONE
Ohio DONE
Indiana DONE
Illinois DONE
Missouri DONE
Oklahoma DONE
New Mexico DONE
Arizona FUCK
Nevada BYPASSED
California DONE
If you take a look at a map, it should be painfully obvious as to the route we're taking. We're stopping at the grand canyon and Vegas for sure, but have no other real commitments. Any ideas for interesting things to check out would be greatly appreciated, because I don't want to be bored during the whole of the Midwest. :)
Also, if you're in those states and anywhere near routes 76, 77, and 40, please consider PMing me your telephone number. Odd things may happen and leave us stranded, it's always good to have a couple of emergency numbers at hand. I'd appreciate it greatly.
Finally, I'll be updating this thread with photos whenever I get an internet connection and a few minutes, so be prepared for an influx of scenery.
