    Junkyard find

    I scored a set of KYB GasAdjust shocks at the junkyard yesterday for...get this...$5!
    I cant compress them by hand without SERIOUS effort, and they look pretty new.
    They will be on my car in a few minuites! I know they aren't Bilsteins, but somewhere down the road I am gonna do coilover Konis, so I am not gonnna spend big bux on my current setup.

    EDIT They are great, especailly considering the condition of the rest of the stuff under my car! I bought my GR2's for the front. Can't wait till I get the springs and struts in, maybe wensday!

      every once in a while ya gotta check the junkyards , it's almost like there are hidden treasures sometimes.

          salvage yard

          yah... when I was rebuilding my car I went to a salvage yard that had nothing but foreign cars and I got a $1250 set of racing dynamics body kit for $100 in perfect condition, 4 OZ Racing Wheels with new tires for $200 total, and an oil pan for $100..... if you have the time, I recommend checking out a salvage yard with foreign cars if you ever need and minor repairs.
