hey guys.... well, i just turned 18 last month and i think its time for me to start establishing some credit. So i was thinking that i want to buy a new digital camera. I am now using a hewlett packard photosmart 315. I think it is 3 mega pixals...but im not to sure. all i know is that my bro bought it about 3 years ago and i use it all the time, but its time for something new. I want something that will be simple to use but will take good pictures for no more than $400. I really have no clue what im talking about with cameras so if some of you guys can recomend some stuff to me that would be great. thanks.

I have a Sony DSC-P52.
Great camera, no complaints. Fairly cheap too. I think we got it for about ~325 maybe? Well under $400, I know that. Takes great pictures and good video with sound.

Sony digital cameras are notorious for the lenses sticking and not retracting back to being flush with the camera.

I've had mine for about a year and have no problems yet. Jordan has a Sony and it went through his Jetta crash and still works. I know, I usd it at the last meet.
