    Another E30 bites the dust.

Last night, my son, who is 16, was on his way home when some dickhead ran a red light and plowed into his car. He has done so good with his driving, no dents, no tickets, and then wham. The police were at the intersection with DUI stop and saw the whole thing. Also, his friends were behind him in another car and they also saw the whole thing. They transported him to the local children's hospital where we spent all night and got home at 4am. All test were fine and he walked out with only a few bruises from the seat belt. I had to take my trailer and get it from the wrecker lot. I was even able to drive it onto the trailer. Enough with the story, on with the pics.

Damn. I was involved in a similar accident about 5 years ago. We ended up on our roof. I'm glad he is ok.

Very glad your son is ok. I had about the same thing with an f250 and didn't even get whiplash. I think that says something about the safety of an E30 also.

Glad to hear you son's a tough cookie. I hope this never comes to my door when my son starts to drive. I could easily say my heart would fall through my shoes.

I gotta call for some quick picks of the bronzit! Good luck with the swap over, and make sure he lends a hand in all the work.

so cliche but glad to hear the man is good.

and even better to know how safe our airbagless cars are!

                            I like your seats.

Make sure to keep an eye on your son. The pain is usually the worst on day 3 or 4. I thought I was fine after an accident and now over 2 years later I'm still messed up because I didn't seek help right away.

Good luck with the new project!

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Nasty hit man, thankfully your son made it out alright. You couldn't have asked for any better witnesses though. I'll keep my eyes open for a similar car FS in the Southeast.
