Question regarding eyelids...

[16v of E30]

I really like the eyelid on the grill of this car. As well with the blacked out center grill. (mine is Chrome.)

Now Id like to ask, where do i get an eyelid spoiler like this and where do I get the Blacked out center grill? Or do I just strip it and repaint it black?

before you get flamed on. Take a look at the links section and you'll find some of our vendors. Many of which probably carry the eyelid for the e30 or euro grilles which kind've have a "built in" eyelid in the grille.

As far as the kidney goes, bavauto shows both the black kidney and the eyelid for sale in their catalog. You can go to the website to order, request a free catalog as well. It's great.

Kamei makes the real ones (abs plastic) Bavauto sells them and also http://www.abrahamsmotorsport.com/ . Or you can get the fibergass knock offs, off of ebay. Or you can get a set in carbon fiber http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=118134.

The kidneys are usally just painted.

I got kameis on mine with the chrome kidneys.

The real ones are Kamei which are integrated with grills & eyebrow. There will be a Kamei sticker certifying the real thing with part number...of course, stickers can be faked nowadays....
