Why do people drive like dicks when I'm in my e30?

Has anyone else who has a non-BMW DD noticed that people drive dickier when you are in the e30? Seriously, people ride my ass when I'm already going 10mph OVER the speed limit, cut me off, etc.

I had an experience this weekend where this guy in a piece of shit truck rode up right on my ass, where I took advantage of the top being down on my Baur and signaled for him to go around me. He proceeded to get in front of me and go 10mph. Literally, 10 mph on a 40. Ohhh, big man, little cock syndrome! He ate my dust when I whipped back around him. But come ONNNN.

Anyway, my DD is an Astro Van. :-) Everyone leaves me alone in that. Other than morons, I never have any troubles there.

Anyone else have this problem??

I've never encountered any problems while driving the e30.. I get more respect in it than I did my Golf.

Opposite for me, I never get the dicks when I'm driving my e30. I've been in a friends E36 numerous times and he is always getting cut off and honked at. I drove a Sienna once and was cut off about 4 times in 5 minutes. When I'm in my car people tend to keep their distance, I don't even get tailgaters... then again I do move out of the way if I see someone approaching quickly behind me.
