She's coming along - Pics of my new Cabrio.

Thanks to everyone who helped with my exhausting indecision issues on purchasing an e30 cabrio. And thanks to all who suggested I hold onto this one and just iron out the cosmetic kinks that it had once delivered. Currently loving it, and enjoying it deeply. I've put on a new top, repaired the seat imperfections, installed MarkD 93 octane chip (WOW!), changed the plugs (what a difference), and put on a set of really clean basket weaves. Next on the list to tackle:

    -De-rice the xenon head lights
    -Flywheel swap
-fix the annoyingly finicky gas guage
    -full detail and wax ;)

Anyhow, here are some pics as she sits now:

looks great! Keeping it was the right call.

Make sure you put some traps down for that rat in the last pic. They can get under the dash and chew your wiring;)

Thanks for the tip.. Rat Droppings in the drivers seat aren't pleasant either.

Taking ideas.. Just sold the chrome kopi knock off's.. Any ideas? I really like something not too blingy, or big.. Subdued yet, providing a nice edge to the look.

Glad you're getting all the kinks ironed out. It is really looking good. The stock basketweaves look at home on any e30.

Thanks Stevie. You were along for the ride from the beginning.

Congrats on keeping it, you made the right decision. It's a sweet ride in an awesome color!

How much did you get for the Alpina clones? They were a nice looking wheel, just a bit too chromy for my tastes.

Thanks Vacman, you've been extremely helpful. I got $450 shipped for them, a bit low I think, but needed them gone.
