    Computer Help

I need some help. I want to record something from my line-out to my line-in on my computer by hooking a jumper cable up. The problem is that the line-in automatically comes out through the line-out jack, so when I try to record it, it loops it self and sounds distorted. Is there a way I can make it so the line-in does not come out of the line-out? Thanks.

It should do that recording internally without a jumper

what sound card is it you should be able to set the record source to what you hear or line out or something similar you gonna get feedback with a jumper unless you mute the output which kinda makes it not able to record anything (ie. you cant do it that way)
