I'm still going to go see it, but ONLY because this movie has been on the brink of getting made for the better part of 10 years, and I'm not going to miss it.

However, I don't have high hopes for it AT ALL.

Yeah, but the difference is this movie was originally going to be made about 9 years ago. The comic book was a HUGE success, and the movie never got made becuase the studios and comic companies couldn't get the rights and what-not lined up.

Freddy vs. Jason was nothing more than an excuse to make another Freddy or Jason move. Alien vs. Predator actually has a backstory. The plot of the movie is very similar to that of the comic, that teenage Predators hunt the Aliens as part of a coming-of-age ritual. Not to mention, it was already made reference to once before.

In Predator 2, when Danny Glover is in the Predator's ship under the subway tunnel, he walks over to a trophy case filled with skulls of several different species, and one of them is an Alien skull.

That movie was so bad ass and over glorified and so over gored, it was great

Josh, I ordered my tickets on Fandango, so we are good to go. Jenny is coming with too. Damn I'm lucky. A girlfriend that likes horror movies as much as I do. :)
