    1988 BMW 325 model question

    I see a 1988 BMW 325 for sale, is this the super ETA or is that only the 1988 325e?



    The breakdown doesn't show the plane 325 as a 88 model.

    should be a super eta if it's an 88 model.

    Look for the telltale signs- it'll have the really skinny intake manifold runners, but the i style ICV and crank sensor, with no sensors on the tranny like the standard eta.

    There are a couple of other signs- search if you really need a list.

      If it has aluminum bumpers, the bigger/later style tails, the skinnier intake runners on the intake manifold, badged a 325 but the sticker in the door jam says 325e = Super eta

      If it has all those things, its a Super Eta.

            yep, and a 6k tach.

            early bumper, late taillights.
            ETA runners, late-style cooling system (resv on teh driver's side)

            kinda the bastard child of e30s, but one of the best IMO
            1989 cirrisblau-metallic 325i

              You can sell the motor thats in it for 500, and you have a full perfect car with tranny and all for a swap car. :)

              <400 is a good deal if the car is in reasonable condition.
