they tried to turn them away at least. a shitload just got out of their cars left them parked on the freeway and walked a good 12 miles into the area. my buddy and I found a commuter lot on the freeway and parked there. we didn't walk along the highway but went through the woods in a more direct route to the grounds so we thought. we ended up walking for like 6 hours. we got some short rides from locals but only one or two were in the right direction. death. we got in at 4:30 saturday morning with no tickets. some really friendly people helped us find tickets. one guy found a ticket on the ground and sold it to us for $40 another dude we met was handed 2 wristbands instead of one and graciously gave it to us.

You guys fucked up VT. ;)

For all this "tree hugging save mother earth" BS the hippies proclaim, they trashed VT. They left all their trash on the highways, 20 miles of plastic bags FULL of trash, pizza boxes, shoes, you name it they left it.

Not to mention you all managed to clog up major arteries in VT for 3 freaking days.
                      Crazy I tell you.

clog the highways we did, but completely trash we did not. the vast majority of trash was compiled pretty neatly in bags along the highway as I sat in traffic on 91 friday morning. talking to a local woman giving my friend and I a ride we found out that it wasn't strewn everywhere until locals began digging through bags collecting bottles and cans for refunds. so according to her at least vermonters did it to themselves.
