Got some fog lights off of a 325 at the junkyard. The ones that go under the diving board. The bulbs are still good. Iv never had fog lights till this point and im not sure if my car has ever had any. I plugged them in but they don't light up what so ever. Fuse 29,30 is there and the connectors look like they are ok. The button to the right of the light switch is what i assume controls the fogs, but even after replacing the switch with the one from the car that originally had the fogs it still didn't work. Is there a relay somewhere or something? Maybe the cars that didn't come with fogs had something different then the ones that did?

I don't know anything about possible fuse box differences between early and late models (if there are any), but my box has two places that relays aren't installed if you don't have fog lights. K9 on the upper left for the rear fog light, and K? on the lower right for the fronts. BMW played a trick and reversed two relay pins, so you have to use a BMW relay to make them work.
