That confirms it. See how they deface the panel so you cannot use it? ...bastards. -
Ok, so I ordered the "set of buttons"
03 SET CAPS 104/2001 64116915812 $25.11 (this price is wrong, it's close to $80).
and this is what you get (minus the cupholder)

Yep, it's not $25, realoem is wrong on this one, it's close to $80. I ordered it today and the cupholder.
I'll sell the extra buttons at $10 shipped lol.Leave a comment:

Yeah i've been wondering about that pricing. It says it's for the set, yet people say the sets sell for closer to $100. Confused about that. I need a couple of temp buttons myself but it's not too bad yet.Leave a comment:

Where can you buy this guy? I see bavauto. Anywhere cheaper than $90.
I saw the dealer had it yesterday and he said that he has never sold one because they sell them for over $200. Hah.
Jean, I put in one of these on my e39, very happy with it. Never use the front cupholders, its an accident waiting to happen.
Also If you have a i phone or i pod I highly suggest one of these.

Sounds good to me; "button kit" sounds vaguely familiar too. Thanks for setting that straight.:)
What's the part number for a single button? ...there isn't. What people do is buy all the buttons w/panel (BMW defaces this so you can't use it or so I've heard)...switch out the ones they need and then sell the rest or keep them as spares. They sell it as a "button kit."

I think this is Ben Carufel's site:
To the OP, the AUTO button is $20 by itself on his site.Leave a comment:

That's odd. One of the colored triangles (arrows) on one of the temp buttons fell out, and CMW replaced just the pair of temp buttons. The blue on the replacement buttons was more vivid, better looking I thought.
If Ron had to order the whole panel, I think I'd have heard about it (and paid more moolah), and I'm pretty sure he said he'd just ordered the buttons.

The cupholders are a single unit. The buttons aren't sold individually so you have to get the entire panel w/buttons then pop them on. I was told, BMW even defaces the panel when they sell you the buttons.Leave a comment:

Thanks!
It's the "auto" botton that I am trying to find, I am going to look through realoem again or hit the dealer for it.Leave a comment:
